but wanting to stick to sports and try and be apolitical shouldn't lead to hurtful feelings.
makes me wonder if Dan tried to block him from doing his own thing due to a contractual obligation or something, that could definitely lead to feelings like he was being done dirty. but I could also see Dan's side of it too, dude literally left and took talent with him to Fox (Billy leaving also seemed to be related to Stugotz being on less since he mainly produced him he said). I could see how that might cause Dan to play hardball when he's losing pretty good talent like Izzy and Billy plus the other producers that left with Stugotz.
I haven't really watched much since Billy left, he was the highlight of the show for me especially with less/no stugotz so I'm not even sure what the current state of it is.
either way whatever the show had is gone. what made it stand out in its prime seems to be gone.
shyt basically just another sports podcast/radio show thats a bit more liberal leaning than the typical blowhard right leaning hosts you'd probably hear on a NY/boston sports radio show.
like it's cool it exists and I'd rather listen to it than some mike and the mad dog type shyt, but it doesn't feel like something you can't miss. there are endless options for sports podcasts at your finger tips now. if a clip catches my eye on youtube i'll check it, but nothing driving me to check for it daily like a I was a few years ago. finding out what Zaslow, Mike Ryan and Chris Cote thought about the game last night isn't exactly a top priority for me.

My favorite part of the bit is when Dan complains that Mike's just commenting and not doing his inner thoughts anymore not realizing that is exactly what his inner thoughts are at that moment which is why he feels the need to call it out b/c he's self-conscious about it.
