He said Monty Williams speech in the Bucks lockerroom after Game 6 was a "look at me" moment, didn't like that he paused the Bucks celebrating to give a speech and could have talked to the players outside of the lockerroom. Basically the reaction is everyone taking a shyt on him.

From all accounts, Monty is a genuine dude, so I feel that’s his character. That said, gotta have some awareness, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the opposing coach in the celebrating locker room. Save that for the presser
I'll put it like this, Monty wanted to be seen, but not necessarily for himself.
Monty's an example to a lot of coaches, younger black coaches in particular. I know a few that took his interaction with Ayton (the one on one that was Wired) to heart.
He could have done all that in private, but it wouldn't have been received to all that it can impact. I think he understands that to an extent.
