I think this small consensus was a product of the first 2 DECENT seasons. nikkas do it with every black "street" show that comes out they has a few average to above average episodes in the 1st and/or 2nd seasons like they honestly have a chance of coming at the throne. They did the same thing with "The Chi" when it came out. Go to that thread and on the first couple of pages for the 1st season, nikkas was saying it was either on par with The Wire, had the potential to be better, or was just flat out better. By the end though? None of that was nowhere to be found, just like with Power now. nikkas gon learn to let these shows play out. Wire bough that head on so many levels and was consistent with it. Attacking shyt from all of the angles it did, having double or even triple the amount of actors these shows like The Chi/Power have and still maintaining quality? We're probably not gonna see that again. Maybe from The Deuce if it keeps improving but that shyt came from the same nikka who made The Wire so
