Post some that you've heard over the years or ones that you focus on daily. No trolling please.

I just saw this one, but it's very good.

"Whatever an enemy might do to an enemy, or a foe to a foe, the ill-directed mind can do to YOU even worse.
Whatever a mother, father or other kinsman might do for you, the well-directed mind can do for you even better.".
Gautama Buddha

:wow: Be sure to keep mindful of your thoughts about yourself, your internal dialogue, and make sure they are headed in a positive direction.

If you think about it, this is why the slaves were never allowed to read or gain knowledge and had to sneak to do so.

They wanted them to believe only what was told to them about their condition and who they were. There were hundreds of slaves all afraid/fearful of one master or a few overseers, they could easily overpower him, but couldn't simply b/c their minds were on auto-pilot to believe what they were told and nothing else.

"Your life doesn't get any better than your mind is: You might have wonderful friends, perfect health, a great career, and everything else you want, and you can still be miserable. The converse is also true: There are people who basically have nothing—who live in circumstances that you and I would do more or less anything to avoid—who are happier than we tend to be because of the character of their minds. Unfortunately, one glimpse of this truth is never enough. We have to be continually reminded of it."

Breh, I thought I was the only one who watches TV and consciously thinks "Why do they have to brighten the label on those bags of chips? No need to do that."

"Why do they have to push the same song down our throats as a form of promotion for the record label (i.e. "Uptown Funk" during the NBA All-Star festivities)"?

In the grocery store: "Why is the sale for 3 for $6, when I just bought 1 for $2?" Thought you got a nikka, didn't cha?

On TV and movies: No idea is original. "Why are there 5-6 show devoted to vampires or some supernatural BS?" "Why there is a penchant for the current movie theme of an older white actor who is in the twilight of his career (i.e. Liam Neeson, Sean Penn, Sly Stone) to be making action movies, fukking nikka up and getting sequels?"

On my days off while I'm watching Maury (yes, i know. guilty pleasure:snoop:): "Why is every commercial centered around some form of financial gain (i.e. Get your money from that slow annuity!, Hire these lawyers to get the money you deserve!, Come and enroll in "Take all your money or put you in debt" Tech so you can be a certified bull-shytter!")

....and for what? Money?:snoop:

May sound like I am complaining but when you step outside of the fukkery, you see things for what they are.

EDIT: I'm sure I'll add more....
