This thread opened my eyes, I gotta change my style as a 31 yr old, but I still look young. Any fashion threads on here?

that was the daily uniform

then cats started wearing athletic & work.wear in daily life

suit & tie is associated with academia business & politics

but the truth is at one time it was casual leisurely dress

my grandpops was a tailor & my father didn't own a pair of denim until after 2010 or something ha

that was my og's tradition buying fabric & getting wardrobes custom cut

they committed every sin there is but they look neat & image fools 99.9% of folks

ha

Old head on the bus last night made me realize, back in his day that shyt was normal, it was normal to run around in some Sammy Davis Jr. suits for everyday wear. Brehs, I’m wearing dikkies black pants, not even slacks with a sports coat and dress shirt to these high profile Hollywood theater security gigs and ppl on the street be like “nice suit:whoo:”. Also issa cheat code to the women:wow:one of my club bunnies saw me outchea and was talking bout how she was finna cancel her date tonight and that I really look good in my half suit/half dikkies fit:ehh:
Im sure you're wearing for the business style dikkies but as soon as I read this part, I instantly pictured a mfer wearing a sports coat with the baggie dikkie pants walking down the street like Fly Guy from Im Gonna Git You Sucka :deadmanny:

Suits as a uniform for workers have been going out of style for the past couple of decades. This work from home thing has only put another nail in the coffin of the suit. Department stores are selling less and less suits, and even traditional dress shoe manufacturers have moved on to selling casual sneakers.

The good news is that you stand out more than ever when wearing a suit. While every other man looks no different than a 5th grader, you’re stepping out, looking like a grown ass man. You don’t think people will take notice?
