some of these responses in here is why no one takes the joke that's the black community seriously. When it's all said and done black businesses would be the most negatively affected by the scams and others communities would gain. let me break it down cause some of y'all are shortsighted:

It's harder for black businesses to get loans in the private loan markets, draw on pooled community capital or generational wealth. The PPP loans was probably the only way for some of these businesses to get capital to hold them down. lots of them would have a hard time recovering or would not ever.

meanwhile, these scammers y'all :cape:for so much would take that money and spend it in clubs owned arabs, jews and hispanics, european cars and clothes and asians jewelers and crab legs then go to jail. none of it would circulate within the community or add to its generaltional wealth. Once again a step backyard for the community. It's funny how the people always going on about crabs in a barrel and hate are the ones doing it the most.

black people were getting 2% of small business loans the years before Covid

this is the most money black people have ever gotten off this

Can’t do the time dont do the crime.

I could give a rats ass about some a$$hole fool who thinks he will steal from the USG and get away with it.

I live a life within the confines of the law and use my brain to outwit those who challenge I man.

PPP scammers on some ole escalators to success ass mofos. Most of that shyt people buy they don’t even need.

NYC (but PGH will forever be home)
We are truly some crabs in a barrel. nikkas in here giddy at the fantasy of nikkas goin to jail. And the main reason is because they jealous that nikkas that they considered beneath them finally had a little money.

Ol “do the crime, do the time” head asses.

Y’all just want them punished because you can’t stand the thought of nikkas finessing when you were too scared to, or didn’t get a chance to.

Y’all some hoes truthfully.

This is an incredibly remedial assessment of the situation.

1st- The VAST majority of PPP funds went to white businesses and organizations. We should be the BIGGEST proponent of making sure these funds were not being misappropriated. Unless you are in the business of protecting white folk:unimpressed:

2nd- If you are a tax paying individual, these people literally stole from you. Why should we be happy or impressed by these idiots? That money could have been used to repair infrastructure, help the homeless, reparations, etc. It's only natural that tax-paying citizens would be incensed and would like to see some retribution.

3rd- From the sound of it, it appears that you and some other posters may have a bit of trouble on your hands:mjlol:.

What you’re saying doesn’t make sense with all due respect. Nobody’s scamming the government, they put that money out there for a reason and made it very assessable. If people took the bait and it wasn’t legitimate they have to deal with those consequences, that’s not your job to report them unless your in the business of helping those white people. People telling on other black people they know cuz they got 10 racks aren’t trying to help nobody, they’re just hating. That crime is victimless. If they get caught they will have to pay, you can’t hide from the government. But black PPP scammers will never get a fraction of the “legitimate” forgivable funds that were given to those big white companies

And going forward it will be much harder for black folks to get a loan because of this
