Battle rap and album rap are totally separate to the point they are damn near unrelated... nobody is crossing over between the two worlds

So at the minumum it's at least possible for only one to be wack. But I learned a long time ago not to try and change a man's publicly stated beliefs. Ego is a MF

This is sad and tough to watch. I haven't felt this way since watching that Lenny Cooke Documentary.

breh you taking it back with that Lenny Cooke documentary. Dude was at the Knicks game looking delusional while Joakim was out there doing his thing. This breh was hype alongside teenage LeBron and BLEW it.

Haven't been into battle rap since around '15. Lost its appeal after awhile, lotta cats sound the same and there really is only so much creativity you can put into written spoken words a capella style, or even off the dome a capella...

So count me in the battle rap is corny crowd...

Respect the guys who have succeeded and made a legit hustle and career out of it. That doesn't make it not corny, though...

Cass gotta call it quits. It's TRUE he never evolved. Find another way to make money, the game has passed him by at this point...

Oh, and yes, it has to be said, you gotta be a different kinda built for the battle scene, cause alota them get really disrespectful. And it ain't so much as the words, I can live with words, but I'm not built for nobody to be grabbing me and blowing smoke in my face. Not built for that, it would be a bad day for Arsonal or any other ones of these disrespectful battle rappers who do shyt like that. I gotta believe they screen cats for firearms at these events because of how emotional they tend to get, so you definitely gonna have to run the hand game, and depending on how blatant I felt the disrespect was, you may woulda got a visit from me at a later date outside the show...
