This shyt getting spooky. Bad look. Cassidy never had the hardest punch lines to me. He had decent word play good delivery and would say Dooe rhymes but I never thought he was super clever like that. This ain’t his arena. He think battling nikkas in just blaze studio qualifies him for this and it doesn’t

I think he's the only true exception.

I have seen great rappers, turn to battle rap, then fizzle out.

It's a wild scene. Alot of battle rappers have died. Drugs, health issues, overdose.

I like it to a point. Then I feel sick with negative vibes. It's not deep art to me. It's like football players fighting. Where album rappers are like street poets who uplift.

It has nothing to do with age..dudes like lux are the same age ..it’s just a different game these days...none of them could make a good song to save their lives, but the majority of them are high quality writers and/or performers

he never evolved his battling style...the pens some of these guys have is insane..people like daylyt..and the stage performance people like tay roc have is way too overshadowing for cassidys played out bars

I mean he said “if there’s beef I’ll put the fire to your grill like a barbecue” in 2019 and thought the crowd was gonna start going crazy

I was with you until you said no battle rappers can make good songs when I’ve heard some records that sound better than most industry nikkas’.

Everybody can’t do both (battling and making songs) but some can.
