Sorry breh that really hurts my heart seein this happen to yall. My wife has a very similar calling. She want us to join up with a missionary and help kids in impoverished parts of the motherland. Thinking about something like this happening to her/us plus the fact ur posts always crack me up got me taking this personal.

Also breh i dont mean to sound discouraging but u gone find out sooner or later so i may as tell u now so u move accordingly with ur coli blessings. See the disability system in the country moves very tediously slow. It can takes months just to get an initial verdict and most applications initially get denied. More than 90% of folks likely get their benefits through the appeal process. It can take years fam. The plus side of that is that u will get ur shyt retroactive from the date u apply. So if it takes 5 years, then u will get all 60 checks upon approval. I think they give it out in 3 installments over a years time. The first two are a set amount and the last one is the remaining bulk.

Also idk how long ur work history or earnings were over that time but apply for both ssi AND ssdi.

And if u have to appeal get a good lawyer. I suggest a big name on tv commercials. Do NOT i implore u do NOT cheap out on the lawyer. And dont let them pick one or take one who works for free. Its well worth the 40% of ur back pay or however much to get the good one.

Nah man don't do that. I am beyond grateful for just the post of concern. My job on here was to give folks a glimpse of hope and sunshine through this shyt storm beyond the physical limit. Sadly, sometimes a funny marsupial needs a shoulder to climb on. Even on day 2, this feels so surreal. Like last week, we were in this shytty hotel provided by a pastor who would not work with my wife to get a cheaper room that is not surrounded by crackheads, meth heads, women who are running away from their abusers, and all other forms of deviancy.

Bad enough, he did not even tried to help from the get go. Dude went to a public housing place like he was big dikk crookied hat, only for the lady to look at him like . Then giving us the whole same tired ideals like "shelters" like we did not do that shyt from the start. He even suggested us seperating in order to have somewhere to sleep.

We been through all of this shyt and this dude thought it was that easy . Like one thing I noticed about folks during this ordeal, is that they can tell you a good 'hustle" story, but never understand how them shoes fit on the other foot. Like poverty is done on purpose as if, I did not tried hard enough because "fukk me" for being by my son who has a bit of special needs and etc.

"fukk me" for following God and going by blind faith to realize that I have personal issues that never been addressed, until we stayed in them hotels.

Breh, I really appreciate your post because it makes me realize that I am not just a face in a clouds, because I just care that much about people....even when I was down for the count.

I still wanted to eat leaves, climb trees, and bring light to The Coli before I take a 18 hour siesta.

Trust I been through the lawyer situation and it was so humiliating and depressing, because the judge was such a old redneck smoothed brain b*stard to care about my constant problems.

My wife been telling her family years of all the shyt I tried to do from working crazy jobs, looking for business prospects, going for my bachelors (which sadly did not work out due to my financial aid running out), and even taking this crazy journey, but lmao. I'm still a wombat in their eye .

I had to let her "friend" know what's up because apparently, I'm not doing shyt despite doing a whole bunch of shyt.

It's a mess breh...a beautiful mess.

Yeah a lot of folks are blessed enough to never be in this situation, so they dont usually understand or comprehend how every situation is unique. A good deal of folks eho go through this one way or another is to ultimately blame for their situation. But good people who just trying to do the right thing still fall through the cracks.

And people also tend to look down particularly on the mentally disabled. But mental health is probably as big an issue now than it ever has been. U got nothing to be ashamed of breh and no one had any business judging u especially if they never walked in ur shoes.

But just keep ya head up man. U and the fam be there for each other cause as u can see at the end of the day yall all yall got. Stay united. The bond this will build between yall will show yall how real what yall got is. Just be there for each other.
