when i first heard the song i always thought he couldn't feel a thing because how fukked up he was from the drugs/jaded with the hollywood lifestyle..."computed emotion" and such...once he came out it gave the realization that he possibly couldn't feel these girls because he was pretending to be something he wasn't or because he missed out on "that one" that he talked about in that letter

regardless, it's a beautifully written song. trademark skillful ambiguity in the lyrics. is it about the struggle within himself to come to terms with his sexuality? is he just fukked up off some drugs and can't fukk? has his move west to LA and the subsequent culture shock numbed his perspective on not just the drugged up girl's he's meeting out there but the human race in general?


i think that it's a shame that some of you will willingly turn down such well crafted ART because of what another individual does in his private time.
