If shyt goes in the tournament how I think it will look for the name Montez harell to go up the charts...I see some Antonio mcdyess in his game.
If he were taller he'd be a lottery pick, unfortunately he's only 6'7" in shoes.

Randle reminds me of a more physical blake griffin than any of those comparisons.

Randle reminds me of a more physical blake griffin than any of those comparisons. I think he'll develop a jumper with time, his stroke doesn't look that bad but we don't need him to take ANY jumpers on our team. He'll be even better with NBA caliber teammates, people just pack the paint on us because no one else can hit outside shots and they triple team Randle constantly. Now, yes, his passing needs work but with a better spaced floor that will be easier for him. I still think he has star potential due to his physicality and mindset (he wants the ball and wants to be the alpha dog). His handles are very similar to Blake. His game certainly has holes but what recruit doesnt? I've seen him play lockdown defense on bigs and guards alike when he puts his mind to it, still a top5 pick imo
Not in terms of vertical leap no, but Randle is more physical/stronger then Blake is.Randle isn't in the same stratosphere of athlete as Blake![]()

Yeah, they are similar, T Jones was certainly a better shooter/defender at this point though. How long is ZBO's wingspan? I still think Randle could be really effective in the post using his strength and muscle. He's a below the rim player, Blake finished over and through people.
Why no comparison to Terrence Jones? He's REALLY similar to him.
Randle is like a freight train when he gets going, he's pretty god damn fast for his size, I definitely agree Blake has better body control and coordination but Randle is still only 19 years old, of course there is a difference in skills.Or speed, or lateral quickness, or body control/coordination not to mention the large gulf in skills

So what do you think Randle's ceiling in the NBA is? I find it hard evaluating exactly what he can do when he gets triple teamed every single time he touches the ball since no one on our team can hit a shot (until the last two games)There's no concrete numbers on Zbo, but it's always been listed between 7'2" and 7'4".
Randolph has high shoulders, so I'd assume his standing reach is in the lower 9 foot range as well.

yall think elfrid payton is coming out? ive seen him as a 1st rounder on some mocks all year. this was my 1st time seeing him play tho.
that sun belt game was something serious. my moms was telling me that theyre ballin over there. that was a good game b. i watched it more than the a-10 & acc joints that were on.
Randle is a better ball handler, rebounder, and playmaker all the players you just mentioned. You're being lazy with the analysis.
Randle is putting up 15/10 on 52% in the SEC. He plays in the paint, looks for contact, and can finish against length.
@ Randle being a playmaker. Ain't no playmakers on that UK teamYea, go back and look and tell me what you find.
And Kevin Love is a perfect example for Randle. Love has the better J, but Randle has the better lift. They both have the touch and ball handling ability to take advantage of one on one match ups at the next level. They both play through contact, and are great rebounders for their position.
