They are doing exactly what you are not suppose to do...their jobs are to spread the word not gain popularity for themselves.... and I've never seen a mission trip's whose purpose was to convert the poor

How can you spread the word and not gain popularity? By remaining anonymous?
thousands of pastors and priest spread the word without gaining popularity. what I meant was this show has nothing to do with spreading word of God (their job) instead they are using the show to show off their riches. they are not acknowledging the One who made all of that possible, they are praising themselves

It's fukking crazy how delusional Christians are man, I mean, I just don't get it. 
People are going to hear what they want to hear. They'll conveniently ignore the countless churches that AREN'T megachurches, that spend significant time giving to the poor, helping people get off drugs, etc. and focus on this because it validates their preconceived viewpoint. To them, this is what essentially all churches are and what all churches are about.

How are they not acknowledging the "One" that made all of this possible, when they're pastors? They wouldn't be pastors if they didn't have a direct relationship with god.
