I sat next to a Latina woman while in mixed company, the most powerful person at the table was a white male and I was just a nikka sipping whiskey while listening to my favorite genre of music tryna pretend that I couldn't see what was happening.

I miss Dr X because he was completely disillusioned and unapologeticly as honest as he could be when assessing our collective plight. It's way easy to posture on the internet and make grand suggestions for what we need to do as a people but I keep coming to the conclusion that as a people, our only goal is basic survival in the most selfish way imaginable.

We have no sense of "us", we have no desire to protect the beings that bear our children, we don't care if our kids lack an identity that is in alignment with their nature, we only care about ourselves.
