No doubt the Predator movies are awesome and they hold a :wow: place in my heart but the fact that this thing is roaming the streets of L.A. has me :bryan:

What the fukk took this creature to Los Angeles in the first place§? Why does it swear and call people mother fukkers in English? Why does the story and feel from the first film feel like it's been thrown in the bushes?!? :russ: :birdman:

:deadrose:

Feeds off conflict and heat, remember? a lot of people to hunt and who fight back. It aint really that ridiculous. U couldve picked a better example of a ridiculous sequel imo. Predator 2 is a dope flick as well.

hahaha but surely they could've picked a better scenario than gang wars in L.A?

It's just ridiculous, if they wanted to make it relevant for the time then maybe the Gulf War or some sort of military shyt in Afghanistan with the Soviets? I don't know, use your imagination.

I read the first few issues of the original comic series and its almost exactly like this instead both gangs come together at the end to fight off an invasion its set in new york and the main character is dutch's twin brother, they never reveal whatever the fukk happened to arnolds character

I don't think you understand how bad a lot of these places were back in the 80s and 90s breh. L.A. was averaging 2500+ murders a year back then. N.Y. was around the same.

That is a legit warzone on par with any of the foreign places you named.

That's why I :russ: when people talk about how wild these kids are nowadays. shyt ain't even half as bad as it used to be.

And the movie took place in 97 i believe, it was piggy backin off your post cuz they makin it like thats how LA would of got eventually since it was so bad in early 90s.

Its actually an underrated sequel. Dope action sequences, Peter Michael Hall made a return as did the original score. The original Predator is just too classic, imo top 5 action flick ever..P2 however is a worthy successor.

funny shyt was that 1997 was supposed to be some warzone in america.

anyways, they shouldve brought back Dutch or the girl from the first one. have them in like a scene to describe how the creature goes about what it does even have flashbacks from the first one. but :manny: at least they did get a mention for a brief minute so it wasnt like the 1st was voided
