Predator 2 is a hilariously GREAT movie.

i came around on predator 2 a few years ago. other than feeling like i need to take a shower after watching it, it holds up pretty well. but its weakness is that it isnt predator so its mostly disregarded. i felt the same way about die hard 2 where these sequels are judged against the original and its just tossed away. definetely not the worst in the predator line for sure, the predator annoyed me so much that other movies are judged on a bell curve now

But its an entertaining movie. Filled with quotables and its own unique world none if the rest hold a candle too.

All predator fans know this is the second best by a mile. 7/10 bad day. 1 is carried by arnolds charisma. Its an arnold movie feat predator.

This felt like an original movie despite being similar.


The look. The sets. The action. It was funny. It was intense. Had scary moments. Predator wasnt a bulky monster like the rest. He was agile and played to perfection by his og actor.

Street scene. The apartment sacrifice. Alley king willy fight. Subway scene. Slaughterhouse. Ship.

Predator 2 feels like a predator movie in ways all the others do not. Matches the dark horse comics 100% in feel.
