This movie was okay. 7.5/10. I would have rather watched it at home than at a theater because it didn’t feel very grand, but that’s because there was so much CGI and it felt very Saturday morning cartoonish but with violence against robots and alien creatures.
*edit People said Disney made this. Ok it makes sense now, it felt like a standard Disney cartoon from when I was a kid but they used the Predator character.

Just got done watching. Had the day off cuz i had to handle some bidness at the dmv and federal office.

I enjoyed it. It was cool how they tried to humanize both the yautja and synth by focusing on kinship bonds all the while forming their own. Elle Fanning did a fantastic performance as a dual character.

Action was pretty good - not as violent as you would expect, but still satisfying. There was some fun lighthearted moments, but i didnt mind it. Its definitely one of the better predator films. I rate 8/10.

Won an AMC gift card at work. Might just watch it again. If we passing out TV shows in the alien/predator universe, hand Trachtenberg a 10 episode series and let him cook.

Just got back from seeing this in IMAX and really enjoyed it :ehh: . I thought they did a good job in quickly setting up the character dynamics and how dangerous the planet was. Reminded me of the hostile planets seen on shows like Primal/Scavenger's Reign and I liked how the Predator adapted to his environment. Even with the PG-13 rating, still felt they came up with inventive action.

I really had fun with this joint. It's definitely Disneyfied, but they made it work. The Predator is scrapping with some really dangerous creatures, and the action scenes are great. I really liked how Dek incorporated the dangers from the planet in his final fight with the big bad.

My only complaint is that the ending with his pops felt rushed. They coulda "to be continued" this and made a whole sequel out of Dek and his ragtag crew heading back to fight his pops and reclaim a spot in the clan. They gave us a speedrun instead...Dek sparring with his brother was a better fight scene then Dek vs the toughest Yautja alive.
