Exactly these cats still saying Jameise smdh...they ain't realized yet it's some random 6'6 255LB QB at Akron who has high potential and little game tape who will be drafted higher because of potential...the NFL Draft is a joke...any of the players picked in all 7 rounds can end up the best...In the NBA if you aren't a lotto you aren't going to be the best usually...NFL is all about systems...does Jameis and Cat at Oregon fit the systems of the teams with the top picks.
Exactly what I'm getting at with why Mariota will be a mid-late round first. If I'm thinking about the shyt squads thatll need a QB and be high in the draft..the only team I imagine choosing a QB is Houston or Oakland though. Maybe Dallas. We'll see what happens cause Mariotta would be a good look for either.

you're wrong about mariota. He will go number 1, he's a prospect in the andrew luck mold. Type of guy with his speed and arm strength and awareness at qb comes along once in a blue moon.

some of yall need to realize these teams dont start watching tape and really scouting these players until they declare

just because the media is saying somebody is a consensus #1 doesnt mean thats what teams think

Bridgewater for example isnt an elite prospect and i doubt any team ever thought that.Just because the media hyped him as the #1 pick during the college football season dont mean shyt

These dudes still aint hip :mjlol:

The last time a consensus #1 preseason QB was actually the #1 option at the end it was Andrew Luck. Wasn't Landry Jones a projected #1 last year at one point? :mjlol:Geno Smith, Tajh Boyd, Jimmy Clausen, Matt Barkley etc etc. It never fails.

Lol @ Blaine Gabbert, Brandon Weeden being first rounders

landry jones was never a 1st round pick, he was always slow as molasses who couldnt move in the pocket. Those drew bledsoe type qbs havent been drafted high in ages, see mike glennon etc.

tajh boyd was always 6 feet 215lbs
jimmy clausen went 2nd round
matt barkley injury and lane kiffen cost him.

Blaine gabbert was always going to go high, same with jake locker, do y'all even watch college football?
