i'm waiting for this list of some run of the mill no name qb from a no name school shooting up the chart and getting drafted.
doesnt have much to do with no name school qbs rising up...i didnt say all that.

Typically though youll see the BCS QBs get hyped up though...Gabbert,Locker and such

locker was penned at a top 10 qb since his junior year and gasp where did he go even after a horrible senior season? Top 10

i dont think most of the dudes are college football fans

theyre really in trying to act like Bortles was some unknown who came out of nowhere :heh:
he wasnt...I fully understand that UCF was balling throughout the year...but nonetheless. WHERE did you see him in draft rankings last year? Same shyt happened with Robert Griffin...i watched duke in his ssophomore year and probably woulda been the only person to tell you he was a first rounder talent. Low and behold as the season went on he got his shine. So whos the next Griffin, Newton or Bortles for 2015? The projected early first round offensive picks are rarely the same at the end of the year.

landry jones was never a 1st round pick, he was always slow as molasses who couldnt move in the pocket. Those drew bledsoe type qbs havent been drafted high in ages, see mike glennon etc.

tajh boyd was always 6 feet 215lbs
jimmy clausen went 2nd round
matt barkley injury and lane kiffen cost him.

Blaine gabbert was always going to go high, same with jake locker, do y'all even watch college football?
:laff: Regardless Barkley and Clausen was once a top fiver. Even with the shoulder injury Barkley played almost the whole season. Regardless, Boyd was too...Geno Smith was and Landry was DEF a first overall pick let alone first round at one point. I vividly remember seeing that shyt.

What dude said earlier makes a lot of sense. At the end of the day the NFL Scouts could give a fukk about two drafts ahead and probably dont have the bandwidth to scout for them. Let Mel Kiper and Pete Prisco deceive you if you want but dont be surprised if nikkas fall. I definitely dont see Jameis being a pick from 1-14 as it stands with his talent. But then again he is a giant :patrice: Mariotta I cant speak on. And Hundley will fall to the second minimum

Um, Blake Bortles was on nobody's radar as far as draft stock prior to that Louisville game... be a revisionist brehs

wrong

Central Florida Knights. 6'4", 221 lb. Coach George O'Leary says UCF will be looking to air it out often this year as he expects to feature his second year starter, Bortles. Three of five starting linemen return and the two new starters have experience.

The receivers are a nightmare to cover for any amount of time on this team. If O'Leary does what he says, Blake Bortles will have a great year.

slow as molasses drop back passes who are "ranked high" never get drafted high.

look at glennon, remember he was number 1 on many "mocks", a first round lock and he slipped. THe nfl is changing if you dont have a athletic qb who can move in the pocket you are not being drafted high.

jake locker was dafted 8 passing 52% with 19 tds n 9 ints and 2,300 passing yards

Wake.
I was HEAVY on the Famous Jameis bangwagon through most of last year but he did kind of look like a bumbling, clumsy, oaf with shaky mechanics in that title game. I gotta see another year of tbh.
