The system wants to set him free because he's a white cop.

Too much public pressure though, so I'll say 2-5 years. He does 18 months max. Politics as usual :coffee:

IF they convict (and that's a big if) probably some BS like 5 years.

Personally I think there's at least one MAGA juror that won't vote guilty so it ends in a mistrial.
It’s liberal Minnesota, he will be found guilty.

If he gets no time it’s a deliberate move to cause mass riots/protests and more TV and media coverage for money and ratings

I can’t see anyone honestly not thinking he deserves some time

either way his life is over so....

the ether
Case is so cut and dried and the # of witnesses against him including cops from his own department was crazy. In other cases they always gave the cop an out but there's no out here. Even the hardcore Trumper types don't want him to get off cause that would prove the liberal narrative correct. You'd have to be a really hardcore racist to acquit. At most there will be 1-2 of those....so if not a conviction then it's a hung jury with 2 voting against conviction at most.

Sentence....I voted 10+ cause I think that doctor testifying that he stayed on the neck for 3+ minutes after the final breath is the big blow. That and all the constant pleas. But I can see where they end up giving a light sentence too. I'll be shocked if it's under 3 years...but it's possible.

Damn, alot of yall really have faith in the judicial system. The majority votes say 10-24 yrs.

I just can't see a police officer getting that long of a sentence, even if to my surprise he gets convicted.

I think it'll be a hung jury or a conviction on the manslaughter charge, which would net him around 4 yrs. I'd be utterly shocked if they convict him of murder.
