people who have the option to do so

Let's quit pretending if the shoe were on the other foot and that was a Sony exclusive feature you couldn't do on Xbox PS fanboys wouldn't be talking it up. Xbox fanboys could make the same silly arguments with remote play like Who the fukk plays their PS4 on a 5 inch screen when they can play it on a 55 inch screen?

yall are Democrats and Republicans out here it's not about right or wrong or about good ideas it's about this is my side and that's their side and we spout all our talking points and defend everything we do and slam everything they do. We've reached a point where somebody innovates in the game console space and fanboy spin turns that into some sort of negative.
Watching tv while playing a game makes no sense though. You can only focus on one. So whats the point? Its like trying to watch a movie with the tv volume on while your stereo is blaring music. It adds nothing and only takes away.

How many exclusives has the 360 seen the last 3 years? Very very few. Systems basically been dead for a while. Sony was still dropping games like tlou while microsoft had already moved on.

Playstation has a history of supporting their systems for a long time.
are you serious? I guess you don't play multiplatform games so any game that's not a PS exclusive doesn't exist or goes in some void. they got the last Gears of War in 2013 a Halo game at the end of 2012 Forza horizon around the same time. That system hasn't been dead at all. It was basically active with exclusives until the year it was replaced and even then third parties are carrying the torch just like they are on Playstation 3.

I'm calling bullshyt on that. I cannot imagine someone seriously playing a game and having a frigging TV show playing on the other half of the screen. I don't even remember using the PIP feature on my old TV back then and that worked fine. It's literally impossible to focus on two completely different things at the same time. It's like trying to eat spaghetti and meatballs while driving. Yeah you can probably attempt it but it's really going to be a mess.

Keep :cape: though, you'll get your daps by the Xbots once they see this thread. :heh:

Ole Kumbaya my lord ass nikka.

I sit grinding in RPGs all the time with the volume off on the TV I'm playing the game on and on my other TV i've got a show, sporting event, or a movie going. Many times I play Madden on the Xbox One when an actual football game is on and Madden is muted and the Football game is going. Granted I've got two TVs next to each other but If I didn't I'd use snap to do it.

If you don't want to do those things fine but there are people out there that love the fact that they can do some remedial task in a game that doesn't require their full attention and have their TV going at the same time. It's a good feature.

360 exclusives were few and far between the last 3-4 years. Sony literally blew microsoft out of the water in quality and quantity.

Thats an extension of how weak microsofts 1st party studios are currently.

Unless you have a second brain its impossible to focus on two things at once. Trying to do both just marginalizes both. Its like people that watch tv while on a laptop and then the episode ends and they have no clue what happened because they werent focusing.

Its a silly by product of being too dependant on technology. Try to do everything and you accomplish nothing.

Last year only ONE exclusive came out for the 360. :wow:

UTBPj.jpg

and that list is outdated since GT6 released in December.

Hell, this year alone PS3 had some exclusives dropped like FFX/X2 HD, Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, Jojo's Bizarre adventure:all star battle and a few others.
and many of the exclusives for the PS3 are JRPGs or Japanese market produced games not made by Sony and several of them are old games that we got years late because the companies that made them delayed the localization of them. Ni No Kuni and Tales of Xillia are really 2011 Atelier Ayesha is a game from 2012 so is Yakazua 5 and I don't even think that game was released in the US.

can we please stop misrepresenting stuff to fit a pro Playstation narrative?

You can't make this up. :dead:

A bunch of shovel ware kinect games nobody wants. And people wonder why ps3 was able to catch up and surpass 360.

Kinect is the trojan horse that destroyed the xbox brand.

Nintendo was on some art of war shyt with the wii knowing their competitors would leech off the idea.

:what:??

So now we shifting the goal posts to exclusives being games that are truly "western" or "Published by Sony"??? :dahell:
That's the stupidest retort I've heard in a long time. So basically it's misleading to mention NI no Kuni as a game for 2013 because it was already out in Japan way earlier??
I honestly don't even understand the point you're even making. It sounds like to me that if the game comes out in the US after Japan then it doesn't count as an game for that year because of the localization?? :wow:

And the "many PS3 exclusives are JRPGS.." point is confusing to me... Is there something wrong with a lot of JRPGS?? Besides the JRPGS, you have the likes of Uncharted, TLOU, GoW, LBP, GT, Infamous, R&C, Killzone, and a myriad of other genres interspersed throughout the gen. That's a lot of variety.

Either way you cut it or slice it, the PS3 platform had a MUCH larger variety of games ranging across a bunch of genres inbetween 2010-2013. There's really no way to spin this. Any rebuttal is just plain ole plea copping.
