Biden was the only person who could have defeated Trump and anyone who says otherwise does not understand the political electorate.
:stopitslime: Just stop. Bernie would’ve gotten the older voters and a slew of young voters. If Bernie was the nominee you would’ve seen a complete 180 on how the media covered Bernie and people would’ve seen how benefited his policies were

Trump would have gotten 330 to 350 electoral votes on Bernie or Liz. He would have won Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona and PA.

This country isn't a progressive country. Its center left or center right depending on the times. The primary showed the youth vote could not be counted on to get Bernie the win and it wouldn't not have major impact in the general election.

The non Trump Republicans and Independents jumped to Biden because he was viewed as a safe, moderate middle of the road guy. Those same voters would NOT have voted for Bernie or Liz because they would have been successfully labeled as too extreme and socialists. They would have either voted 3rd party or held their nose and voted Trump.

Plus as a former Vice President to a popular President, Biden had national familiarity as a previous office holder that Bernie and Liz didn't have which allowed voters to trust him.

less people vote in the primary plus the DNC was trying to make it harder for some voters. I don’t remember the particulars but you should be able to look it up.

The demonization and radicalism of policies would’ve stopped once he was the pick and people would’ve seen just how needed they were definitely with the effects from covid being a massive example.

"But but but anyone but Trump"...

Folks could have did a write in or a third party option but they gambled on Trump or Biden on that "lesser of the evils" shyt.
And people keep lying that it had to be this Biden Vs Trump shyt…just about every poll had Trump losing to the first 5 democratic candidates…Biden is a world class fukk up, always has been…everyone around him said it. By the numbers, we could have easily have had Warren, Sanders or anyone else in there but the DNC sold this as a “we need a moderate” candidate
