In economic warfare news important for affairs down here in LATAM, the US Treasury Dept. published a communique where it says it will authorize transactions related to the export & re-export, directly & indirectly, of liquefied petroleum gas to Venezuela, until July 12, 2023

Further still, the elected president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, announced on Tuesday that he plans to return the administration of the Venezuelan state company Monómeros to the government of Nicolás Maduro to lower the prices of fertilizers in his country. Even further, after a meeting between govts and businessmen of Colombia & Venezuela, there are reports that Mr Petro will sign a border re-opening agreement on August 8. Colombia govt sources state that as of that date, political will for reopening is greater than before.

Donald Trump's neoconservative US National Security Advisor John Bolton admitted on CNN he “helped plan coups d’etat” in Venezuela and “other places.” Benjamin Norton analyzes Bolton's book "The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir," which details the US hybrid war on Venezuela.
