President Obama Deserved What He Got Last Night

President Obama deserved what he got last night.....He completely ignored this petition on the ColorOf Change website:

A petition that had over 200,000 signatures when earlier in the year he told Congress to pass an extension of the Violence Against Women Act when the Republicans were first obstructing it...

Look at the signers of that petition...and also the numbers....if you take out the recent signers from June onwards....its basically the same total as the petition that was on the ColorOfChange website....both about 200,000

But the petition I put up above was a success and eventually signed...yet this goes ignored..

This President has the nerve when his back is against the wall to go on "Black radio" years after he said "I am not the President of Black America" ...just to use as a life raft to save his own ass..

We get that certain things cannot be done because of obstructionism....but don't you guys find it disturbing after all these years....matter a fact can you recall ONE speech by him on what this ColorOfChange petition is talking about? Simply besides the generic race talk he does once in a while like the My Brother's Keeper speech, A more perfect union speech back in 2008,etc.

Usually when we see him address the situation its to tell a story....HAVE any of you ever seen him give a campaign style speech the way he does to address violence against women, gay marriage, income inequality and minimum wage, equal pay for women, immigration, etc....

Let me make one thing straight I am not one of those people anti anything that is mentioned above.....especially and particularly immigration because my mother and I are both in that situation and we aren't Hispanic...cause I know alot of you guys go overboard with the "Anti immigration" talk...

It still is a predominantly Hispanic issue, but we don't necessarily have to be 100% against it because some of your brothers and sisters although a small minority are involved in the predicament...but we can let him know why he was focused ONLY on them and barely acknowledged us until he needed us as a life raft one more time...

If he has played with the hearts of these immigrants for a year constantly delaying and pushing back an executive order....why should we not expect him to do the same with something like the drug war or mass incarceration that he has barely acknowledged...I really cannot understand why one man can be so hesitant about every damn thing in life...

If this was like 3 years ago the funny thing is you would probably tell me to take it easy right? But now you have been contemplating feeling the same way even if you don't agree with me fully right? Thats the jist I get from alot of people who used to defend him tremendously(I mean I once did also)

Basically the mindset is that they cannot really find ways to defend him anymore with less than 2 years left basically....

I forgot what thread this was discussed in but I think in another thread on here people were talking about the third party talk...what would you guys want that party to be based on and as trivial as this sounds, what would you name the party?












The funny thing is in his Farewell Address Obama is gonna piss off Black America even more when he decides to start talking about how great he was and how much he got done...

What he did in his 8 years will be the equivalent to when Franklin Roosevelt had all those progressive policies that benefit us to this day like Social Security, maximum hours, unemployment benefits and other social safety nets, collective bargaining and labor unions, fannie mae,etc.....

The way we all see these Youtube vids all the time of Obama having his sleeves rolled up in some small midwestern or north town getting the crowd "fired up" and talking about why Congress should address a specific issue? We have seen that with pretty much everything EXCEPT what I mentioned? Why is that?
