The moment Holder came in he focused on changing the sentencing laws and they've gotten even more lax for drug laws.

The sentence trunctations are about to go into effect in the next month and holder is still pushing for drug scheduling reform

And he just nominated a sister to replace holder.

The reason we in the black community are disappointed in Barack Obama is because he has done so little for us in relation to what he has done for other groups such as illegal immigrants and homosexuals. -Votes dont mean shyt compared to how much money I'm getting from these non Black folk.

-Voting for me doesn't mean I can personally save you, but if you vote locally, and as a unit, you will see change.

-Being the "first" Black president is scary as fukk when youre surrounded by evil, being heavily influenced by evil, and getting paid by evil people.
"My" people dont use enough of their resources to protect me, so how can I go hard for them.

-Look at all the GOAT Black leaders in America... How many lived to old age, made significant change, AND maintained overall respect from Black communities while going against white supremacy?

What was the President suppose to do for blacks in America?

Stuff like education and bettering the community are what local elections are for, but judging by another thread about the mid terms some of y'all refuse to vote.

While it was cool that someone that wasn't white was elected President I didn't expect him to do anything for black folks. Anyone with a basic understanding of this country and it's history with blacks knew that. I can't say I blame other blacks for thinking he was gonna do some major things for us because we supported him heavily and it sucks many of them were let down. Hopefully this will be another reason for black folks to look within ourselves and each other in the community to bring about change in this country for us.
