I know Americans always have high expectations of their athletes but a medal is a medal and you should be thankful you got there let alone medaled because over 180+ other countries didnt medal

Ask the U.S. football team how small they feel when they see Brazil, Argentina, Italy and all the great football team in the world going at it in the World Cup and Olympics. Football (aka soccer) is the worlds undisputed favorite sport with basketball being a very very very very very very very distant second. Imagine how the U.S. soccer team must feel not being able to bring their team to that party.

THAT is why I say a medal is a medal. Take pride in and love what you have until you get what you want and Love.
