Motherfukka you supposed to save weed for AFTER the workout.
Now there has been times where if I smoke it might MOTIVATE me to do a small workout or some shyt cause its ups your dopamine. So a mofo would even be motivated to clean the whole house after a nice joint but for the most part that shyt is best to alleviate and relax you and make that postworkout food taste good as fk.

Smoke a weed vape and you won’t smell like anythingI do it on the weekends when I usually do accessory work that doesn't require high-intensity levels. I find that it helps me with mind-muscle connection and I can feel the contraction in the targeted muscle better. Just throw on some old-school R&B and make sweet love to them weights
It's not for everyone and I certainly wouldn't make a habit of it but I do casually enjoy a lift or two per month while zooted. I also make sure I'm not walking around smelling like it at the gym. That's just poor etiquette. And to the OP I wouldn't make a habit of consuming pre-workout and cannabis.

You gotta find the right strainNever lifting high again. Takes all the intensity out of the workout for me.
