yea, I don't feel kanye on that song neither. and you can tell somebody else wrote it, even more than the rest of his mostly ghostwritten catalog.

forced record, and the media made it into a forced classic.

Believe it or not, I know some "Christians" who didn't like the song when it came out, and even resorted to citing it as the reason Hammer lost all his money and his career fell off.

"He didn't even say who he was praying to."

things like this remind me why the average christian ain't shyt.

musically it WAS dope but lyrically it sounded forced on some HEY THIS SHOULD GET THE PEOPLE TALKIN type shyt. Didnt sound from the heart like through the wire or ALL FALLS DOWN etc.

I never heard this song before. shyts gotta be the worst I've heard since whenever.

That's word, we pray, pray, pray
We got to pray just to make it today
I said, "We pray", pray, ah yeah, we pray, pray
We got to pray just to make it today, that's word, we pray

All my life I wanted to make it to the top
Some said I wouldn't, they told me no but I didn't stop
Working hard, making those movies everyday
And on my knees, every night, you know I pray

I said, "We pray", pray, ah yeah, we pray, pray
We got to pray just to make it today
I said, "We pray", pray, ah yeah, we pray, pray
We got to pray just to make it today, that's word, we pray

It sure was the most popular song i would say, but its certainly not the best.

On another note, i was listening to Feel my Power a few weeks ago (settling an argument with a friend). Hammer actually started a verse, and i quote:

A, B, C, D, E, F, G
Im not impressed, can you count to 3

fukkin :dead:

really tho, the best songs based around God are the ones that drop knowledge.

btw, Israelite rappers are nice. dudes be so raw with the delivery. its not any different than regular rap, aside from a lot of the content. way better than Christian rappers.
