Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
I live in NYC and the most ever I spent on a date in my entire life is $130 and that was mainly because we had lots of liquor with our food.

But I do notice the states with cities that have a lot of restaurants have more expensive dating averages.

Also Cali, NJ, NY, DC being so high up tells me that this data reflects Cacs who eat at pricey restaurants.

This doesn’t necessarily say first date.

Not every date has to be extravagant but A nice date night out with my wife back home in NYC usually runs me close to 500.

Dinner alone at ruth or another high end restaurant runs us about 200-250 with tip. Then we usually catch a broadway show which can be 100-150 per person. We don’t drink alcohol, so that’s where we save money
