Maybe it will carry over. Thats just the way it is. The price of everything is going up. You should see how much fast food has increased in price.
That's bullshyt cause you got companies out here that are trying to be consumer minded getting grouped in with Nintendo. Thats like a family owned bbq place trying to keep their prices low for years and then Shoneys move in and raise their prices.

Now people like you saying man BBQ has really increased in price, oh well nowhere we can send our support since everybody is doing it. You capitalist punching bags make shyt pointless for the conscious businesses. Imagine being a new games studio, putting out the JRPG style GOTY for $50 and being grouped in with Nintendo cause the prices of games went up at one company. shyts ridiculous.

This is a false premise. Who's grouping in other, smaller game devs with Nintendo?

You don't find it odd that all 3 console manufacturers are raising the prices of their 5-7 year old consoles in the same year? It's either inflation (mostly driven by tariffs) or a collusion and racketeering, like the New Day Co-Op on The Wire or something.

bruh.. did you not just see him say everything is going up in price. Read the dude posts before you quote me. Everything is not going up in price, its only certain companies in key areas. All games are not going up to $80, thats your company that started that shyt.

First off, all of these companies are protecting their biggest markets. No price raise in Japan for Nintendo, no price raise in America for Sony. So its already a business decision to let some consumers slide. A company with 100 billion market cap can easily eat a deficit.

Microsoft is following Nintendo's lead cause they lawst already, may as well. Somethings can't fly no matter what though, thats why they walked back their $80 shyt. End of the day, Nintendo showed what was possible, (and impossible in Microsofts case).

winb's talking inflation in general, and he's right, everything is going up in price. We just had the worst 4 years of inflation since the 80s and now we have a dude who's never understood basic economics running the most powerful country in the world. You're denying reality if you haven't seen rent, mortgages, college tuition, grocery bills, and car prices rise.

Everyone was eyeing higher game prices. Game dev costs have risen faster than the $60 MSRP could handle for a decade(small indie titles notwithstanding).

Nintendo ate deficits on the Wii U (literally sold the thing at a loss) and were in a dangerous position before the Switch ended up bailing out them out. They're keen to not make that mistake again and it makes sense.

Also, FWIW, the United States/North America is far and away Nintendo's largest and most important market...and we're paying $450.

That's a lot of word vomit, deflection, and shyt I didn't ask for. Are the prices of all games going up or not? No. Are the prices of every fukking thing you ate yesterday up? No. "Everything" is not up. Nintendo was not at risk of going out of business, they were at risk of having to change their company culture.

You nikkas are exhausting with this same song and dance. and I'm genuinely tired of arguing with yall in every thread. Just let me say my piece and scroll past my posts next time, and I'll be doing the same with you.

The Multiverse
Switch 2 sales slowing down precipitously.

Trying to get anyone on the fence between Switch and Switch 2 to cop the 2.

Emulating Pokemon games on my phone been ass. Havent played my PS5 since moving back to Chicago, and that was at the end of 2023. Havent unboxed my Quest 2 since then either.

I cant bring myself to sell my Series X but I think I'm going to sell the PS5 and Quest 2 and get a Switch 2. I hate Nintendo sales practices but Pokemon brehs. Eventually I'll get it modded and just play single player games for free offline, I aint tryna play against lil kids in multiplayer anyway.
