real talk, a lot of people love confrontation and then isolate themselves and have no where to turn when they need it.

i agree with the second half but at least that is the good part of pride it can keep you going and blind sided, thats why there are 40+ year old rookie rappers trying to make it or 40+ year old trying to live a dream. i dont see that as too much of a negative unless they become aggresive with delusions of grandeur.

I see this homeless old guy struggling up and down the road with a full backpack and crutches all the time.

The other day when I was headed inside the grocery store I saw him and decided to speak because I'm like WTF!

I asked where he sleeps, did he have food stuff like that and he was very nonchalant about sleeping outside of the waffle house. I was ready to offer money or food but he acted almost like I was inconveniencing him.

Finally I told him he should go to a church and ask them for assistance. At least so he could get a wheelchair and he was like no no no...I have principals.

I admire him in a sense.

true a man should be self-dependent.

i never ask people for money ever, or even favours. i think it shows character and that you are somebody others can rely on.

one of the tell tell sign a man has no pride.

if his no longer social or has company, its in our nature to be self serving and competitive when a man loses that testosterone its from a sunken place, willingly living with a blind side and denying himself the true fruit from the labours of "pride" things like discipline,drive,consideration,right and wrong,etc.

once you lose your pride, thats how people spiral out of control and are then capable of doing disgusting things like murder,drugs,harrasment,etc.

im glad we got social media for a lot of people its a good source of release unless there could be more atrocities.
