How many games did the Bulls win those two years Rose didn’t play? Thibs and the bench mob were just as valuable to the Bulls success, so there shouldn’t have been a drop off, right? Nate Robinson and DJ Augustin picked up where Rose left off :troll:

18-9 in 2012
45-37 in 2013
43-49 in 2014
7-5 in 2015

113-80 record in total without him those 4 years he was on and off the court. :yeshrug:Equivalent to an almost 48 win season, which is virtually a guaranteed playoff spot in the East. :troll:Not to mention they were a consistent top 5 defense. So yeah, the Bulls were far from an incompetent team when Rose wasn't on the court. :russ:

But even that year, he didn't surpass what I was seeing from Westbrook at the time

I'm just saying, at the time, MVP Rose wasn't nicer than Westbrook IMO.If anything, they was even steven.

If we;re speaking "prime", it's unfair to Rose.Current Westbrook/Curry>>>MVP Rose.

The man was robbed of his potential.
I disagree. D-Rose had a lot more composure in clutch situations and was a more deadly iso player. I think he had the most impressive clutch time stats in the NBA in 2011.

Westbrook has always been erratic with turnovers, chucking three pointers, bad midrange dribble pull-ups in clutch situations.

Also, D-Rose to me had a lot more skill than given credit for. Rose had superior handles and had better touch inside than Westbrook. He knew angles and could play the glass as good as Irving and has G.O.A.T. body control/hangtime in the air.

It’s like this site doesn’t realize there’s 8 other people on the court and in the field of play at any given time or that the guy who shoots half his 3’s off the dribble and shoots better off the dribble then off the catch is lethal offensively in isolation and in 5 on 5 anywhere on the floor no matter what the situation.

They put a fantastic team around :deadrose:. They were able to consistently win games without him for 3 straight seasons and even won a playoff series without him even while getting hit with injuries to Deng and I think someone else. Their offense wasn’t gonna light up the scoreboard, but they weren’t 1993 Knicks or 2004 pistons levels of bad on offense and still were a top 3 defense while usually being the best rebounding team on both sides of the floor.

and what would that peak have amounted to if his team had remained a bottom of the league team

if the franchise remained in disarray and the coaching was below standard

chef peaked right in stride with all the pieces around him franchise/coaching/team etc.

*

Chef been nice since Davidson. As a rookie he was cooking.

He ain’t hit his stride because early in his career he had them ankle injuries and he didn’t have they keys to the offense with Monta Ellis on the squad.

YOU DUDES JUST BE TALKING OUT YA ASS.

THE BULLS LOST TO THE 8 SEED
AFTER ROSE SPOTTED THEM A 1-0 LEAD.

THE BULLS TEAMS YOU CLOWNS
KEEP MENTIONING MADE THE PLAYOFFS
WERE NOT THE SAME TEAM ROSE
WON MVP WITH.

BULLS DID A COMPLETE OVERHAUL
AFTER THEY LOST THAT SIXERS SERIES
AND BROUGHT IN SOME GUYS WHO COULD
CREATE THEIR OWN SHOTS.

2016 WARRIORS BASICALLY WON 2 SERIES WITHOUT UNANIMOUS CURRY
AND THOSE TEAMS WERE BETTER
THAN THE BUM ASS NETS.

2011 Bulls wee one of the deepest teams in the league. I remember Bulls fans talking up the "Bench Mob" all season. Revisionist history has them acting like it was Rose carrying bums. That defense was just as important as Rose.
Dont forget everybody assumed that the Bulls were going to blow the Heat out of the water before the series began and people were stating that Bosh was going to be a non factor heading into the series do to Noah and Taj and shyt and wont be able to keep the Bulls out of the glass.

Fast forward 7 years

They won a championship and 73 games before KD came. Curry was averaging 30ppg on 50% shooting too. His team is good but he was the reason why everything came together since he tasted playoffs before klay and green were as good as they are now and KD was still in OKC.
