That went to two NBA finals, 1 embarrassing Kobe and the Lakers and four straight Eastern Conference finals. Lebron and the Cavs had no business beating them. Prime Lamar would of been the best player Lebron played with if he was on the Cavs and he still lead them to 50 & 60 win seasons etc.

Kobe has never shown you could build a team around him alone, he needs to be on teams where he's only expected to be a scorer that's when he's at his best. With Lebron I know they'll be good initially (even if they're mediocre) I just have to find another piece to put them over the top for the chip.

None of wat u said is true

Also, how many former/current NBA players do you need to tell you that they would prefer Kobe. It's somewhat insulting that you dismiss the opinions of people that actually played with these dudes.

That is not true kobe has taken awful teams to the playoffs in the west. LeBron teams would of been eliminated in the first round if they were in the west. Matter fact lebrons Cleveland teams were more talented than kobes 05-07 teams

The 2007 Cavs had no business being in the Finals. They would've got railroaded out West. Phoenix or Dallas would have gave them that work, let alone the Spurs.

Gotta go with Prime Bean. No question. I rocks 2with Bron, but "81 Point Bean" is the best offensive basketball player I have ever seen. And he was still playing lock down defense. There were absolutely no holes in his game. Current Bron can be contained and game planned for. Kawhi was able to battle Bron the last 3 games of the finals to a draw. Im positive that doesnt happen against Prime Bean.

smh @ people having a problem and saying he's a ball hog. He's reliable cause he's more likely to make the shots over anyone else. I'm sure his teammates didn't have a problem with him being a "ball hog" when they won their rings thanks to him (not saying that they didn't contribute...bball is a team sport, but at the end of the day, the team has to just do what works and if passing to Kobe guaranteed a win, then what's the problem?). Thanks to Kobe, Walton was able to get 2 rings (just like people's boy LeBron lol).

Seriously though, if the formula works, then leave it. 2 years ago, when they asked Kobe to help with assists, he did...he took less shots & passed more...he's not opposed to switching up his style when required.

C/s he if his had it going he was a willing passer he wasn't just ball hogging like these casual fans try to say

If I pick Kobe do I also get the dominant big man he needs to win a title?

If not then this isn't even thread worthy

If I pick Bron, do i get the 3rd best
sg ever and a Pf who put up 24 and 11 as a first option..?

You also gotta throw in the Goat 3 pt shooter to save my legacy just in case im on the verge on being 1/3 in the finals.

A little town called none ya got damn bidness
maybe but i know for fact Jason Kidd wouldn't of shut down Kobe.
and Kobe would have locked down Jason Terry.
no other way around those points.

and I know for a fact prime Lebron wouldve baked Tayshaun Prince or Rip Hamilton while playing great defense while getting everybody else involved and letting :shaq:feast

That's partly due to Lebron going in taking the easy rebounds from the big men. Only 26% of his rebounds this last season were contested. It's not like he's going in getting the tough boards.
