All this talk about conferences is silly, LeBron didn't play on stacked teams in a weak conference, he played on weak teams in a weak conference. Which makes talking conferences irrelevant.

The cavs making it to the Finals in 07 would like a word with you.

um? They do not take the same type of shots. Do you people ever actually watch Lebron play? This is no knock against him, I actually think he's smart in this regard, but the guy will NOT shoot unless he's wide open, can get open, or can drive to the basket. He's not the type of player to try to take a shot of any type of difficulty, he prefers easy transition layups, open midrange jumpers, open threes, etc. If he cant find one he'll pass around and wait until he is open. He does not try to forcefully take over games like Kobe can and when he does, like he did in the finals this year, he cannot maintain for the game as he wears out.

Lebron takes high percentage shots, which is why he shoots a high percentage. he is not a better shooter than kobe, he's not a better scorer than Kobe, but he is a better opportunist than Kobe and he finds holes quicker than Kobe(as he is also quicker/stronger which allows him to exploit the defense a lot easier).

So LeBron never takes tough contested shots? Come on, just say Kobe forces more shots than Bron and you'll have a point.

Negus laugh all the time when I make this argument. Kobe and MJ grew up with fathers. Lebron didn't so he will never be on the same level as Kobe or MJ.

As simple as that....

Let's not put championships on 1 man's shoulders like any 1 man has ever elevated his entire team to a championship. Has never happened. Never will.

How the fukk would he do that when LeBron is a better playoff performer than Kobe? :childplease:
Dont think Kobe would be outplayed by Jason terry in 2011 and Kobe know spurs killer while Spurs own lebrons soul. But keep believing Lebron shytting on 38 win teams in first two rounds make him a better playoff performer than Kobe who plays 50 win teams every round

Stop it. LeBron usually faced better defenses in the playoffs, what 38 win teams in the first two rounds you making shyt up. The only under .500 team the Heat faced were the Milwaukee Bucks. Also, I doubt you've seen Miami's records against the Western Conference, they had a 19 game winning streak against the West at one point they'd be fine regardless of conference. In Cleveland like I said he had below average talent even relative to the conference which makes talking conferences irrelevant. And no Kobe did not play 50 win teams every round, are we gonna act like he didn't face three weak ass Eastern Conference (early 00's East was worse than today's) teams during the threepeat?

In '04 Kobe got outplayed by Rip Hamilton and had arguably the worst Finals series for a superstar player of All-Time. The Spurs of this year are different than the Spurs team's Kobe was killing the the late 00's better team more depth, better defense and offense.

LeBron is a better playoff performer than Kobe, because he's top 5 in playoff points per game in NBA history, Kobe is a 41% Finals shooter, Kobe is an atrocious elimination game performer while LeBron is one of the best in NBA history, LeBron has a ton of legendary games like the 45/15/5 on 73% vs Boston, the 40/18/9 vs. Indiana, 48 points vs. Detroit in 07 while scoring the last 25, etc., LeBron only trails Jordan in gamewinning shots made in the playoffs.

He got outplayed by Chauncey and Rip in the 2004 Finals and he didn't exactly blow JET out of the water in 2011 his damn self. :yeshrug: Bron's best playoff performances have come against the C's, Pistons, Magic, Bulls and Pacers so we can't just act like he just got fat against the likes of the Wizards and Bucks. If you look at the years they played common opponents (08-12) their individual performances are pretty comparable with the only notable difference coming in 09 and 12 (both advantage Bron). If Bron had prime Shaq I am pretty sure he'd have a more successful track record against the Spurs. It's not like he didn't show up this year.
