Bron can't be compared.

We haven't seen a player like him before.

Dude turned Karl Malone on niqqas last night. Seriously.....you just don't see wing players morph like that.

How about we don't compare him to anyone?

The way he punished George in the paint wasn't a mid-post game wing players develop, that was a straight up big man's post game with jump hooks and "You too little" strength added.

If he turns uses that more later in his career there's really no comparison out there for him, he'll have gone from a drive and kick player to a low block player.

Good comparison but, honestly don't believe we can compare Lebron with anyone because he's unique. He's like Barkley when it comes to being unique. No comparison.

It's about time nikkas just start accepting the fact that we ain't seen no shyt like this before. Why does he, or any other player for that matter, have to to be compared to anyone any way?

To find a way to discredit him/them. Example: Person 1:"Lebron reminds me of Magic." Person 2:"Yeah but he doesn't have Magic's vision." Person 3: "That's why he can't mess with Magic, plus Magic has 5 rings."

See how easily Lebron gets diminished? This is why I dislike comparisons, especially with players from different eras.

hes one of the best driver/finishers of all time

There are only a few I would say are better. Wilkins, young Vince, young MJ, and easily dr. J. Then I'd take Lebron . So yeah top 5. Blake and kemp would be after because they really need a lob or An assist to finish and can't really do it off the dribble. Wade was better at one point too but he was more of a slasher than a monster finisher.

Vince never led the league in points in the paint, Bron has, don't confuse dunking on people with being a better finisher.

In that case he is far the being best finisher. Shaq, Hakeem, Kareem, wilt, Duncan, etc

I'd take Karl Malone as a finisher over all of them except Dr. J. and Mike. Malone the King of deadbeat dads, also the King of And ones.

How did I kill my own argument? A wing player constantly in the top 3 for paints in the paint, he shot something like 73% at the rim this year.

If you have to start talking about big men, then that tells you exactly how good of a finisher he is in the lane.

:ehh:

You guys can't be serious saying Lebron is a better scorer / postup player then Larry Bird right? :what:

one of the reason's I made this thread. Prime Bird was no joke and put up stats very similar to what we are seeing Bron do now. The way they achieved their stats are very different but the comparison is there.

They weren't as good of finishers as Bron.

And please....none of us in here watched Dr. J in his prime.
