Mase is the only rapper graded on a curve. Like, ‘yo low key’ Mase was nice, and we gotta magically ignore the type of music he was making and conjure up Children of the corn Mase. Nobody put a gun to his head to make that pop shyt. That’s his discography. He’s got Harlem world and that’s it.

Ie im sure Lupe is a technically better rapper than kendrick but kendrick made better music so it’s not a debate. Cam made better music, and the music we still fw, not just for nostalgia. Jim is trrrible Asa rapper. he has a good beat ear and that's where it stops. I've never heard a Jim Jones song where I'm like this nikka spitting I need to rewind the verse. His flow is trash, again he picks good beats. His music also has no longevity,once u hear a Jim song u heard them all, rap is so trash or maybe nyc music has falling off so bad, Jim has been getting over hyped. He just constantly puts out music because he's late to the party. He can't do nothing else. Cam and Mase just don't love music because it's no money in music. They hopped out and changed lanes. They can rap circles around jones whenever they choose, like when they do freestyles on iiwii.

Anybody saying this you know hasn’t actually listened to anything from him. Nothing on Harlem’s American Gangster sounds like Fraud Department. Nothing on Fraud Department sounds like Wasted Talent. Nothing on Wasted Talent sounds like El Capo, and I could keep going.

He made better music when he was still trying to figure it out. He’s more refined as a rapper now, but it hasn’t made his music better.
