The video is sped a couple milliseconds to make him look better than he actually was. He wouldn't make a D1 team let alone the NBA.

I used to take pride in my defense until some old nikka straight murdered me playing pickup one day. He was probably about 230 or 240 all muscle and about 5'10 or so.

I'm pretty damn strong but homeboy was just backing me down at will. Hit me with so many drop steps, hook shots, up and unders, step back fadeaways that I was completely clueless as to what was coming next. Even was taking me off the dribble due to his herky jerky game.

:wtf:

Isn't Oscar the only player to average a triple double in a season?

WTF are you talking about? Dude was the Lebron James of his era. You've got to be joking.

:smugfavre:

I started working on my old man game when I hit 220lbs, I figured it made no sense for me to try and take people off the dribble when I was much stronger than them. Lifting weights and playing ball is an unfair advantage if there are no 6"6+ people around, the real world Power forwards are only about 6"4.

WTF are you talking about? Dude was the Lebron James of his era. You've got to be joking.

Here's an example of 2 guys who only look at stats and can't comprehend how Oscar achieved those stats. In '62, the average team took 107.7 shots per game. By comparison, this year the average team takes 80.2 FGA/G. The league pace factor for 1962 was 125.5 possessions, whereas this year it's 91.7. Oscar's Royals averaged 124.7 poss, while Wilt's Warriors put up a staggering 129.7. On the other hand, the 2012 Heat are averaging a mere 89.2 poss. It turns out that the simplest explanation for the crazy statistical feats of 1961-62 (and the early sixties in general) is just that the league was playing at a much faster tempo in those days, with more possessions affording players more opportunities to amass gaudy counting statistics. If you adjust Oscar's stats for tempo he doesn't avg a triple double. Lebron's adjusted stats are much more impressive.
