The video is sped a couple milliseconds to make him look better than he actually was. He wouldn't make a D1 team let alone the NBA.

Wait, hold up. My fukk Kobe thread gets deleted...twice...but this clown gets to post with impunity? Ya'll mods gonna hurt this forums reputation.

I love seeing cats whose games were much more modern looking compared to the contemporaries of their time.

One thing about Oscar...this cat knew his spots on the floor to shoot.

Thats my mix on Youtube! This board actually respect his game - most don't. Kinda hard for new gen fans to understand Oscars game I guess - he was a Tim Duncan of point guards, all business and no flash. Many players of his era contrasted his which was more entertaining to fans, but some of those guys like Walt Hazzard aren't even knkown today because Oscars simple fundamental game was so much more effective.

Earl the Pearl is a better known example of guard from Oscars era that contrast him
Earl Monroe - The Greatest Moves - YouTube

Oscars whole era is underrated, check out Lakers pair of PGs from 63-64 season. Jim King and Walt Hazzard (6:01-7:21)
1964-65 Los Angeles Lakers - Laker Insights - YouTube
6-2 King dunking w/o much trouble on a breakaway too, most of those guys from that era do dunk but the more famous ones (like West and Robertson) chose not too and makes it seem like the era is less athletic than it actually was. Not saying these guys are like Rose or Westbrook but I was surprised they didnt look like stiffs when I comb thru footage to find highlights of the greats.

None of those 60's players would be able to play in the NBA today. Oscar would be no better than a Ramon Sessions if not worse.

That clip of Oscar reminds me of Westbrook..

they way he backs down PGs, his jumper(although he doesnt get nearly as much air under him as Russ), the way he enters to lane and just the way he moves with the ball.
