But as for this thread, I don't see how you don't take KD:why: They're on the same tier as scorers with KD bein much more efficient(in the PS not even close) and Durant is a better rebounder then mac. The only area mcgrady has a clear advantage in is in playmaking skills

This is funny time for this thread because you can easily argue Durant just had a better playoff series then Mac ever did even with the struggles

these nikkas love to overrate nikkas from the past,, shyt is pathetic.

I dont ever recall T-Mac puttin up 35 14 9, 28 and 18, 38-15 etc.. in the Playoffs like Durant was puttin up last year on a consistent basis

But The lakers have a 60% winning percentage in the RS AND PS when Kobe scores 30 for his career:dwillhuh:

For example
Scored at least 30 points: 9-3 in the 2008 Playoffs(.750)10-4 (.714) in the 2010 playoffs, 10-5 (.667) in the 2009 playoffs (29-12 Overall .707):russ:

:ehh: Ok, touche', I stand corrected. I'll rephrase that. Bryant has eclipsed 30 points three times in his career. Two of those 3 years he doesn't make it outta da 1st round. Lookin' from the time he wins his 1st 'ship (the beginning of his 20-5-5 days) to now, his 9th and 10th highest scoring averages have resulted in his last 2 rings. Look @ his last Finals apperance. They lose that series if he keeps forcin' his shot, instead uv him playin' within' himself, and doin' otha shyt wen his shot ain't fallin' (like grabbin' 18 rebounds in the closeout game).

Again, Durant hasn't played 4 an xtended time as THE man, he's acquired the bulk uv his numbers playin' possible sidekick to Westbrook, and a 6th man of the year in Harden. Time will continue 2 write Durantula's chapters tho...

Kobe had 15 rebounds in that game. And 11pts in the 4th.

Durant is the man :laff: at sidekick to harden and West. He's the undiputed best player on that team and has done more at 23 then Mac ever did in his career.

Thread is an example of how you guys love to overrate players from the past. Durant led his team to the finals last year as THE MAN.

Now all of a sudden someone who never got out of the first round until he was :flabbynsick: with the spurs is better?

T-mac's prime lasted for 20 episodes of friends. I'd rather have current Durant for 6 years and counting.

Subjectively yes. Objectively probably not.

Durant has already achieved more than T-Mac at this point in his career. And statistically he's pretty elite even all-time as far as scoring and efficiency.

But I'd watch prime T-Mac play 12 times out of 10 over Durant. Without question. T-mac was a much better playmaker and had a flair to his game Durant could only dream of.

And what's crazy is, T-Mac(along with VC and AI) were doing all of that damage in the early 2000's off of natural talent. Of course, it caught up with them in the long run but you had Kobe busting his ass every off season and these guys weren't going to practice or even doing pre game shootarounds. :heh:
