:krs: @ the way T-Mac is romanticized on this board..

Not once in his career did he play a full 82 game season...

Not once in his career did he shoot 50%...

Not once in his career did he lead his team to a playoff series win...

But like someone said earlier in this thread "KD's game is boring" so that must make T-Mac the better player...

Ole NBA Jams azz n1ggas...

Look at what Durant is doing by himself though now. Putting up numbers and not winning. Tmac was on some shytty teams

Durant got out the 1st rd without Westbrook.

T-Mac had good teams in Houston and even if he didnt I cant think of one other elite player who couldnt get his team out the 1st rd no matter who they played with

He had Westbrooks' help in 2 of those games in a series that went to six, almost to 7.

Anybody that agrees with OP doesn't know anything about basketball. This series KD had is actually exposing real basketball fans and those who watch for entertainment. This Memphis team won the season series against the Thunder WITH Russ. They went 7 games in the playoffs against the Thunder with Russ and Harden. Now that KD couldn't get past them solo, he's now being compared to a career 1st round exit star?? What Brooks asked of KD had a greater chance of failing than succeeding. This is the NBA! There are intense video breakdowns on player tendencies, team schemes, etc. For Brooks to roll out the ball for KD to handle the ball in the first half and get every body involved while getting his own shots and rebound....then turn around and guard the best center in the league in the 4th quarter while bringing us home....now do it for an entire series?!?....he failed his star player and team. Its mind boggling that KD had to mask losing Russ, Brooks ineptitude as a coach, and Perk being useless against the best frontcourt and defensive team in the league. There will be a time to shyt on KD, but this isn't it. You notice former players like Barkley, Shaq, Kenny, etc all said what was expected outta him this series was virtually impossible. At 24, he's light years ahead of T Mac.

Do u think Durant makes it past Houston w/o Westbrook's contributions?
