Shaq was great but we gotta stop with the Paul Bunyanesque revisionism. Shaq been swept so many times with so much talent around him it's ridiculous. People always try to avoid this truth by talking about "prime" Shaq as if he turned some corner in 2000 and went to some new level. He was the same nikka, doing the same shyt he just had Phil and Kobe and a weak league. If Shaq was in KG or Duncan's situations back then and you had Kobe and Tim together he is Ewing, Barkley, Malone status right now.

Shaq did turn a corner around Phil though, he definitely brought the best out of him but if we're playing the hypotheticals where hes playing away from the Lakers, then I guess he doesnt have Phil anyways
