Sounds about right but this is a genius exploring music during their lifetime.after Sign O' The Times
that was his last classic album
after that, he was very hit and miss.
don't get me wrong, they were still some good and great songs here and there, but the "classic period" was over
from 1980 to 1987, those are his golden, excuse me, "purple years".
after 87', the downfall started.
Sounds about right but this is a genius exploring music during their lifetime.
The stuff you didn’t like the will likely age well
everyone has a fall off period
no one is immune to dropping wack shyt
even the geniuses
"Jughead" by Prince and Tony Mosley is still just as wack as it was in 91', lol.
One wack song on an album that also included Cream, Diamonds & Pearls and Gett Off, doesn't really constitute a fall off.
People who say Prince never fell off are the ones who really never listened to his music.
After '88, it was hit and miss.
The early 90's was especially embarrassing.
