Here's the American Bandstand performance with the weird interview at 3:50... LOL

19 year old Prince - Live at American Bandstand 1980-01-26

Prince on that interview like "you can stop after your 1st question". Big fan of his and have been since the 80's, have almost all of his cd's & maxi-single cd's. The Hits/B-Sides and Crystal Ball are ones to definitely pickup. Still looking for the import cd with him and the NPGt had just a jam session.

Prince is a old man stuck in the past. He has a archaic view of the music industry. He owns the masters to most of his classic recordings and yet he wont remaster them or repackage them. He wont put his shyt on youtube. He wont put his shyt on itunes. He dont realize its gonna hurt his legacy, he just want to be right. He still a genius tho.

Prince owns his masters? :leon:

prince hates the recording industry and the hypocrisy behind the business aspect of it and acts accordingly

recognize greatness when you see it

exactly. why the fukk would he allow youtube and spotify to make money off HIS music then kick down pennies to him per hundred thousand plays?

prince has ethics and he sticks to them.
