I used to bump the hell out of this album. Still remember the day I copped the cd from Sound of Trenton. Freshman year in college.

Brewin' was then and still is one of my favorite MCs, so it was dope to see him get some shine. Used to have the intro to Weapon World as one of dorm room voicemail messages.

Low-key, a pretty fukked up disturbing story was told in that album. Prince Paul really told an old-school B.C. Greek Era-esque tragedy through hip-hop. Album broke all kinds of ground in it's uniqueness.

After spinning back De La Soul Is Dead a couple times these last couple days, Prince Paul has to be top 5 DOA. There's just something very purely hip-hop, soulful, and vibrant about his beats even on his more commercial R&B type tracks like Pass The P's and Ring Ring Ring
