:damn: I skipped over the self titled vinyl last week..went back today it was gone.

Good looks. Do those albums have a certain sound for each or is it just all mixed up?

Yeah basically they're all different sounds.
1999 and Purple rain sound close to each other, similar styles.
Before those you've got Controversy and Dirty Mind which both
have similar themes.
Then before these two you've got the Self Titled Release and his little known first album which sound similar exploring Disco and some funk.

Around the world in a day is kind of like Prince paying homage to the beatles
peep the album cover, scratch that I just love the album period. lol
It's like his Sargent Pepper if you've checked that album out.

These are basically all 80's releases with some late 70's stuff, Diamonds & Pearls is from the early 90's I think, less rock moreso R&B.
Check out his work for batman to if you get a chance.

Any of you guys into any late era Prince at all? Not a lot of it gets discussed, but I distinctly remember liking The Gold Experience when I last listened to it.

I'm just wondering what people's opinions on his work post-1995 are.

I listen to mostly his 80's projects, I did check out some of his recent stuff though
I actually dig the last two albums he dropped.

Prince was on fire from 1981-1988. Just check and look out for any of his own or side projects that he pulled the strings for and that should fill out your cup

Are you trying to kill the guy?

That's 8 Prince albums, 3 Time albums, the Vanity 6 album, the Appolonia 6 album, either 1 or 2 Sheila E. albums, The Family's self-titled album...and I'm sure I'm missing a few obscure projects here and there.

Between '81 and '88.

:damn: This guy was way too prolific.

The Gold Experience is a great album. Dream Factory bootleg is a must have too. Prince unreleased catalogue is :king:
