Long term addiction to FENTNYL is junkie status imo..And yes its a patch but like any drug can be taken intravenously. If he indeed was using patches then the trail back to the supplier should be easier to detect.
The substance is highly addictive and he was using it to manage chronic pain, so yea, he may have become addicted. I just don't see where you have any evidence he was using it IV, it takes a lot to process those to mainline it, he easily could've gotten injectables (that are more suitable for recreational use) if he was simply trying to get high. Dude ain't getting these patches and doing all that bullshyt to make them an IV drug when he could circumvent that process entirely. Seems to me you're running with your narrative of what happened.

He had hip pain...don't know how that equates to needing a transfusion :jbhmm:

And I'm not religious, so I'm not sure where you're trying to go with the "cute" comment about heaven :rudy:
He would need a transfusion if he were to get the surgery to reduce/eliminate the pain.

Hip surgery doesn't require a blood transfusion. It's possible you may need one if you have a low blood count, but it's not a surgery where it's a given

It is very likely that he would need a transfusion. If her weren't able to accept one it would basically have a chance of just killing him. You asked how hip pain equates to needing a transfusion and that's why. he may not need one but, there it is likely that he would need a transfusion during the surgery or recovery. His size and age may have played into the likelihood as well.

Read a little about it on WebMD...he may have been given the option of donating his own blood to use before the surgery. A religious rule that says you can't get hip replacement surgery but you can take a drug 20x more powerful than heroin just doesn't make any sense to me.

Everything isn't a conspiracy. He got addicted and it controlled his life. If anything it makes too much sense. We all knew he had that hip problem so he needed something to help reduce the pain
