In Princes case, and in the case of other Black celebs like Prince, there is kinda a Black-Community based stake in where his money goes, given the millions of dollars of donations he's made to literal Black communities in various inner-cities around America. His money built a school a inner-city school in Chicago for Black children, he put solar panels on houses in Oakland, he's even donated money to the family of Trayvon Martin. He's also built many of shelters across America. He donated heavily to that "Yes We Code" program for Children in the inner-city to help them get into IT programs. All of Prince's charitable donations are just now coming out, and he kept alot of it a secret because of his religious beliefs as a JW. It's CRAZY the amount of money he's spent on the community. So in a way, there is somewhat of a Black-Community-based stake in where his money will be going. I know we talk alot of that "Hotep" stuff, but there's validity about being concerned about who controls his money, and how it relates to building-up the Black-Community. There are actual numbers that can be crunched.
