This wasn't a choice between slinging the girl down like a ragdoll and doing nothing. The principal could have broke the skirmish up in a more professional and responsible way. He looked like he let his frustrations get the best of him. Breaking the fight up was the right thing, the manner in which he did it obviously wasn't.
