Is it immature to apply the principle of least interest in long term personal/intimate/romantic relationships? Like trying to appear more nonchalant than the other person about the relationship just to maintain "dominance". I can understand trying to not appear too eager/thirsty or invested early on but some people live by "finding someone who loves you more than you love them". Does anyone apply this principle to their long term relationships?
