I would have been able to defend myself by that age, but I grew physically very quickly.

I will say this, I don't think most of my classmates at that time would have been able to defend themselves against a grown man in a fight, but they would have tried and made enough of an effort that it would have drawn attention. I've never been involved in ANY type of sexual assault, but I assume that if it's happening in an office and the parents are in the waiting room the kid would cause enough noise in there that the parents would have came in or something.
