How did you find this out? I thought that kind of thing wouldn't leave the prison

These guys ran in a click together; did crime, party and I think even spent time locked up together. Word gets around right.

COs should be monitoring what’s going on so these things don’t happen frequently. Create an environment where inmates feel comfortable dropping kites about who has the knives and drugs, instead of trafficking these materials in to begin with.

Violence has a place in jail but it’s not supposed to be the first line of action, prevention is much better.

But in an environment where the only thing respected is violence, how can you create such an environment?

What was it? The video is not there or removed.

An inmate was bullying a smaller inmate, and the bully inmate had a 12 inch blade on him. And he was telling the other inmate to throw up gang signs. The smaller inmate was stabbed or sliced, and the video was showing how fukked up the prison system is. Inmate walking around with large blades, smoking weed and running the prisons.

I'm asking, but i know from working there.

I think that has to start from the top down. Separating violent offenders from non-violent people. Smaller pods so they’re easier for COs to manage. Letting inmates use devices to send emails to anonymously report dangerous activities.

I’m talking from an uninformed point of view since I’ve never worked in a prison.

This is a lawsuit filed against Lee Arrendale State Prison AKA Alto, that was shut down and turned into a women’s prison. Alto was the deadliest prison in the US and anyone that’s really from Atlanta knew to stay out of trouble purely out of fear of being sent to Alto.

They allegedly killed a young guy and raped him while he was dead.
